Welcome to Rita Freely Designs. By using our website at https://www.ritafreelydesigns.co.uk/ (“Website”) and/or placing an order, you accept and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Us

All artworks, designs, mixed-media pieces, and other items sold on this Website are created by Rita Freely. All intellectual property rights (copyright, design rights) in the artworks and website content remain with Rita Freely unless explicitly stated otherwise.

2. Products & Descriptions

  • We make every effort to present our artworks and products accurately — with photos, dimensions, materials, medium and other relevant details.

  • Because display monitors vary, colour and tone may differ slightly from what appears on screen.

  • Each listing describes whether the piece is an original artwork, print, commission, or design service — please read carefully before purchase.

3. Ordering

  • Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms that you got your order but does not constitute acceptance.

  • We reserve the right to cancel any order (e.g. if the item is unavailable or there is an error) and will notify you as soon as possible, refunding any payment already made.

4. Price & Payment

  • All prices are in GBP (£), Rita Freely is not VAT registered.

  • Payment is processed securely via Wix Payments, Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

5. Delivery & Shipping

  • We aim to dispatch items within 3 working days after payment confirmation. 

  • Shipping rates and delivery times depend on the buyer’s location (UK FREE SHIPPING / international-PLEASE GET A QUOTE BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER) and are calculated at checkout.

  • We provide a tracking number for all shipments.

  • Once dispatched, delivery times may vary depending on the courier services and location. Delays caused by couriers or customs (for international orders) are out of our control — but we will assist where we can.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

7. Intellectual Property & Use

  • All artwork, content, text and images on this Website are the property of Rita Freely.

  • You may not reproduce, copy any artwork or content without our written permission.

  • Purchasing an artwork gives you the right to own that physical piece (or print).

  • If you wish to license the artwork for commercial use (e.g. print, merchandising, reproduction, publication), please contact us directly.

8. Liability

  • We take care to package artworks carefully and dispatch them safely. However, once a package is accepted by the courier, we cannot be held liable for damage caused during transit.

  • Our total liability in connection with any order or purchase will not exceed the amount paid by you for that order.

  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential damages (e.g. loss of profit, business interruption, loss of use).

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on the Website and will apply from the date of publication. Continued use of the Website after changes equals acceptance of the new terms.
